Ah Italy! The land of gorgeous landscapes – and even more gorgeous people! Where food is an art and time spent good friends, family – and a nice wine- are sacred!

In the spirit of the holiday season, our friend Bruno Abate, owner of Tocco, would like to welcome us into his “home” for a true taste of Italy and lots of holiday cheer!

Join us @ Tocco for the launch of the “Italian happy hour” (Aperitivo) which will be a regular event at Tocco! We are so excited that we get to kick off the first aperitivo night with our friends from the AIC (associazione italiana chicago) and “Chic Italians of Chicago” groups- after a taste of Bruno’s food and a cocktail or two- you’ll swear you’re in Milan instead of Chicago!

Greetings everyone,

We will have our Holiday Get-Together on Wednesday, December 5th at TANTRA, located at 2285 Peachtree Road (Buckhead area).

The venue will be pretty much reserved just for us, so they are moving most of the tables and chairs to accommodate our group.

$7 red and white wine will be served as well as a $4 Sam Adam’s seasonal beer.  Appetizers will also be on hand and valet parking is available.

Greetings everyone:

Our November get-together will be on Wednesday the 7th (NOT Tuesday) and we will meet at the newly opened Restaurant-Bar MODERN located at 3365 Piedmont Road (Tower Place).

For those of you familiar with the area, it is the old Copeland’s restaurant location. Free parking in complex garage or valet for $5 if you prefer.

Start time is 7:30 as usual and we will have appetizers on hand. We will gather around the bar area and also have access to the outside patio (weather permitting).
