The Greeks are known for so many great things- their history, contributions to modern art and language, beautiful country and fantastic food, their love of life and about a million other things…

And now we’re adding great cinema to the list!! The Chicago Greek Film Festival is in it’s fourth year and will be showing it’s first film on Friday, May 5 at the Gene Siskel Film Center in Chicago. For a complete list of movies and times, please go to http://www.greekfilmfestival.org

Harry Karahalios, Director of Greek Film Festival will be on hand to give away three sets of free tickets to the film festival for some lucky winners!

EuroCircle Chicago is extremely pleased to be hosting the Greek Chicago Film Festival kick off event with our very special co-host www.dailyfrappe.com.

Daily Frappe is an on-line community for the millions of people of Greek heritage- or interested in all things Greek- that are divided by geography by united by a love for all things Hellenic! We are very excited to be partnering up with Daily Frappe founders Spiro and Kyriakos- who also happen to be fellow Chicagoans- for this very special event!

We will be hosting this year’s event at the beatiful VENUS restaurant (www.venuschicago.com) in Greektown for a taste of the best Greek-Cypriot food, fun- and of course dancing- possible this side of the Mediterranean!

Join us for for some great food and drinks including: $2 Hellas Beers, $6 Venus (Goddess of LOVE) Martinis, $5 Skouras wine and $3 ouzo shots! There will also be a dinner buffet loaded with tons of Greek and Cypriot specialities available from 7 pm to 9:30 pm for $10- and it’s all you eat!

But don’t worry about those calories because we’ll burn them off dancing to Greek music provided by who else- our own DJ John Grammatis!

***And before anyone asks, plate smashing will not be allowed, but we do encourage dancing on tables!

Finally! Spring is officially here which means that we can finally stop hibernating and do more socializing!

And, since we specializing in martinis and mingling, we’re excited to kick of the spring social scene by hosting a special swanky lounge event at Narcisse.

Narcisse is definitely one of the poshest bars/lounges in the city so get ready to get decked out! Those of you prefer our smaller, more intimate events (and love getting dressed up) won’t want to miss this one- especially because we will be featuring a complimentary hosted bar (well drinks and beer)from 8 to 9 pm- so get there early!!

Everyone gets to be Irish on St. Patrick’s Day- or the evening of, in this case!

No matter what your nationality, get your green on and join us for our annual St. Patty’s Day pre- party and celebrate all things Irish!

This year, we’ll be drinking Guiness and eating corned beef at Galway Arms, a charming Irish owned and operated bar/pub in Lincoln Park that’ll make you swear you are in Dublin. From the authentic Irish food, friendly and charming ambience, and of course, great selection of Irish brews, you won’t want to miss out on this event!

Our favorite time of the year: leaves start turning colors, the air feels refreshing rather than just plain cold, and our thoughts turn to demons, devils, corpses and other Halloween costume possibilites for our annual,much anticipated, most favorite event of the year- HALLOWEEN!

Yes, the season of international ghosts and ghouls is upon us once again, and we have another great Halloween event planned this year that can’t be missed!

Of course we will be featuring our famous costume contest, featuring prizes in the following categories:

Best overall, funniest, scariest, sexiest and most international! As some of you know from past events, we have some creative folks in this group, so competition is stiff! And we have great prizes!!

We’ll also have freakish “Skeletini’s” for $5 bones (no pun intended) and $4 Coroner Corona Beers!!

And of course, the most sophisticated assortment of witches, warlocks and other creatures of the night!
